Roman Around the Christmas Tree

posted in: Community | 1

Swing by the Roman Road Christmas Tree to share a smile with your community this festive season and create your very own decoration to add to the tree.

A 20ft Spruce Christmas tree is in Roman Road (outside Idea Store Bow) and will be in place until the New Year for our community to enjoy. Roman Road Trust has asked local schools to create handmade decorations which will be hung on the tree on Saturday 11th December from 12-3pm. There will also be the chance for local people to design, create and place their own decorations onto the tree at the event.

Roman Road Trust will be around to update you on what the New Year holds for us and our project to Transform The Common Room.

Special thank you to High Streets & Town Centres at Tower Hamlets Council for providing our community Christmas tree and big thanks to local schools for creating beautiful decorations for all to enjoy.

DATE: Saturday 11th December, 2021
TIME: 12-3pm
LOCATION: Gladstone Place, Bow, E3 5GS (just outside Idea Store Bow)

The Rediscover Roman Road project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Welcome Back Fund from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
