Guest markets are an effective way of attracting footfall to the road,  increasing the profile of the high street and attracting  a new type of visitor.

Organic September popped-up in the heart of the East End with Soil Association’s autumn jamboree held at Roman Road Yard Market on Saturday 10 September.

Thirty of the UK’s top organic food and drink producers along with organic beauty brands gave Roman Road Yard Market an organic makeover. The event featured street food, live music, and an array of organic food. Despite the torrential rain that lasted nearly all day, over 2000 people visited.

The event was covered by local and national press helping to raise awareness of Roman Road, and strengthen its association with good food.
