Globe Town Common Vision: Arts & Culture Workshop

posted in: Urban Regeneration | 1

Meet and discuss arts & culture programs in Globe Town at our workshop on Tuesday 9th January at Four Corners, E2 0QN.

Local residents, businesses and community groups are invited to our fourth workshop, as part of the Globe Town Common Vision initiative. We will explore different arts & culture offers in Globe Town. We will look at initiatives that already exist in the area, such as those that support young people as well as exploring what is missing.

We have invited Four Corners, Balik Arts, Art Represent and Rich Mix to tell us more about who they are and what they do. After presentations from these organisations, a group discussion will be held to form a common consensus.

This is the fourth workshop that is being delivered by the RRT and LBTH Roman Road West partnership. The partnership aims to support the Council’s high street improvement strategy over the next few years as part of the Thriving High Street programme funded by GLA.

In a series of workshops happening every first Tuesday evening of the month, we will get together to discuss a relevant topic.

The final event, Globe Town Knee’s Up on Tuesday 6th February will be our last in this phase of the partnership and we will be celebrating and presenting our conclusions. Don’t miss it!
