Roman Around the Christmas Tree

posted in: Community | 1

Swing by the Roman Road Christmas Tree to share a smile with your community this festive season and enjoy decorations lovingly handmade by local schools.

A 20ft Spruce Christmas tree will be in Roman Road (outside Idea Store Bow) until the New Year for our community to enjoy. Roman Road Trust has asked local schools to create handmade decorations which will be placed onto the tree on Saturday 5th December from 12.00-3.00pm.

Roman Road Trust will also be around to update you on what the new year holds for us and our project to Transform The Common Room.

Special thank you to High Streets & Town Centres at Tower Hamlets Council for providing our community Christmas tree and big thanks to Old Ford Primary, Malmesbury Primary, and Olga Primary for creating beautiful decorations for all to enjoy.

We’d love you to say hello but please remember to follow social distancing guidelines to help keep our community safe.

Please note: Roman Around the Christmas Tree is able to go ahead after the Covid19 lockdown 2.0 restrictions were lifted on 02/12/20.
