Local children and their families are invited to visit the Rich Mix Bookswap in The Common Room on Saturday 7th March to celebrate World Book Day.
Bookswap events encourage children to exchange old and unwanted books for completely different ones. The aim is to replenish their libraries whilst sharing a love of books and reading within the community.
Rich Mix has previously held Bookswap events in various local locations such as Globe Town Market. This year’s Bookswap will be at The Common Room on Roman Road.
You can find The Common Room at the junction of St Stephens Road and Roman Road. It is next to the car park and behind the Santander Cycle Docking Point.
You can also donate any books to Rich Mix or other participating venues in the lead up to the Bookswap!
This event is part of Discover’s London Children’s Bookswap celebrating World Book Day.
