There was a great turnout for Roman Road Summer Festival’s Opening Sunday which somersaulted and backflipped onto Gladstone Place with the spectacular opening performance from IMD Legion dance crew. Tower Hamlets Tennis and West Ham Foundation gave skills workshops then the crowd watched the Wimbledon Men’s Final on the outdoors screen, with Pimms and Strawberries and Cream in hand. Nearly 4,000 people attended and enjoyed the transformation of Gladstone Place into Bow’s Town Square.
