Roman Road Trust is looking for a CEO to lead the organisation into the next stage of its evolution as a pioneering citizen-led regeneration organisation.
Roman Road Trust is a not-for-profit community and economic development organisation founded in 2013 by local people to help improve the high street and the community it serves.
The organisation has played a vital role in delivering and facilitating a network of local community projects including Roman Road Bow Neighbourhood Forum, Globe Town Assembly, Roman Road Festival, Yard Market, Orchard Project, Edible Bow, Roman Road Common Room, Roman Road Common, and more recently Plastic Free Roman Road.
Plans for the future include the activation of an underused car park at the heart of the high street, with a view to developing the space for the benefit of the community and high street. See more information on Roman Road Trust’s projects.
Roman Road Trust is well-respected with its members, partners and funders. This is an incredible opportunity to play a crucial role in taking this small but growing community organisation to the next level.
This is a varied role with scope for flexibility but successfully candidates must demonstrate a passion for community and the built environment – the intersection between people and place.
Current CEO and founder Tabitha Stapely will be stepping down as CEO at the end of the year to work full time on her other venture Social Streets, a not-for-profit multimedia publishing company growing a network of local magazines including Roman Road LDN.
