Consultation open for Liveable Streets Bow

The consultation period for the Liveable Streets Bow programme is open until Tuesday 21st May. Local people are invited to submit their thoughts and ideas through drop-in sessions and by adding ideas to an online interactive map of Bow. The aim is to gain creative ideas, thoughts, and feedback from local people on how they want to see their local area improved.

The consultation is part of TfL’s and Mayor of London’s Liveable Neighbourhoods funding in which Bow is one of the first neighbourhoods to be improved under Tower Hamlets Council’s own Liveable Streets programme.

Project Centre has been appointed to deliver the programme in partnership with Tower Hamlets Council. Project Centre is a streetscape design, engineering and landscape architecture consultancy that will be delivering the consultation in Bow. Project Centre has previously worked with other London councils such as Newham and Enfield.

Please participate in the consultation to ensure your voice is heard, and that you influence the changes that are to be made in Bow.

Drop-in sessions will be held at the Idea Store, Bow, Gladstone Place, Roman Road, Bow, E3 5ES on Thursday 2nd May, 5-7pm and Saturday 11th May, 10am – 12noon.

The online consultation features an interactive map of the Bow neighbourhood. Local people can directly highlight the places/areas/locations they would like to see improved and add your comments to the map.
